I am Shannon and in addition to being an energetic dog walker, I am a friend, ally, and advocate of all the dogs in my care.
I am a long-time Lower Haight resident who has lived in the same Waller and Fillmore apartment since 1992. I am well known in the neighborhood for my love and guardianship of the beloved beasts. My keen sense of dog behavior and deep-rooted love for them align with a persistent insistence on good behavior to create a safe and positive experience for all the animals in my care.
I am also energetic and fun, and I will run down your dog’s batteries.

I restrict my service area to the Waller Street corridor between Steiner and Laguna streets and Haight Street and Duboce Avenue.
Working within my neighborhood and keeping the pack size small I am able to offer relaxed accommodating schedules and experiences for families and dogs.
Hyperlocal dog walks:
- Flexible pick-up and drop-off times.
- Support for unscheduled requests and changes.
- Assistance with dog-related errands (e.g., pick-up from local groomers and pet pharmacies).
- Minimal time spent in the truck, as dogs are picked-up and delivered home on foot.
- Pack members see and smell one another around their own neighborhood, reinforcing their sense of security and ease.
- Boarding available in a familiar environment, with your dog surrounded by their usual friends and pack.
- A hyper-local approach means I can be more than just your dog's walker. I can be their friend, neighbor, and ally.
Walks
All my bookings consist of two walks per day.
A morning walk about an hour in duration usually includes ball play in Duboce Park with other pack members and orderly walks around Duboce Triangle and the Waller Street terraces. Pick-up times are between 8:00-9:30.
Afternoon adventure begins around 12:30 with doggie drop off between 4:00-5:00.
Our most frequent afternoon destination is one of San Francisco's many beaches, but Mclaren Park, Mountain Lake trails, and Golden Gate Park's Chain of Lakes trails are sometimes good choices. Beaches allow every dog to play off leash.
